103 Cajun Restaurant and Lounge
In Calhoun, LA this little restaurant off the beaten path has very tasty gumbo! Scott ordered the pancakes which were also fabulous. From the friendly staff and yummy frozen margaritas and daiquiris to cajun favorites. Next time must try the crawfish etoufee. 103 Cajun.

Carl’s Corner, Texas
A beautiful field of bluebonnets and other wildflowers. Was a wonderful sunny day which is much different than today’s rainy cold day in Austin. It was nice to see and feel the soft field. Definitely a site to see.

Stuck in small-town Alabama…
Stuck in small town Alabama for the day. Not that I dislike Alabama…there has been charming houses I’ve seen. Perhaps it was the less than good Chinese food from Peking. Sadly the only thing I enjoyed from their flavourless food was a layered coffee cake dessert.
