I went through Moore, Oklahoma this week the same day that Oklahoma City and some other areas were touched with another tornado and I got to see the damage and devastation but I have to admit this was a beautiful way to end an Oklahoma day.

Turner Falls scenic overlook is a beautiful spot in Oklahoma. Here’s a thistle in the field by the overlook.   A field of beautiful wildflowers by the overlook. And I couldn’t pass up this prickly pear cactus in bloom and some pretty little purple wildflowers.

Last fall while I was at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, Texas I took this picture of a beautiful water lily with two bees inside it.

I seen these beautiful Trumpet Creepers while we were stopped. I couldn’t resist taking pictures of them.
