I’m an artist, photographer, and writer with a lifelong passion for storytelling through images, words, and lived experience. What began as a personal blog in January of 2012, a quiet place to process, create, and make sense of my world, has grown into something much deeper: the foundation of what would become The Luna Projects.
I am a survivor of domestic violence, emotional and psychological abuse, and profound loss. After the murder of my two beloved companions, Dexter and Luna, I began writing more openly about trauma, grief, and the long, uneven road toward rebuilding a life. Sharing my story became a way to reclaim my voice and to help others feel less alone in their own darkness.
Over time, this blog evolved from a creative outlet into a survivor-led space for advocacy, healing, and connection. Through The Luna Projects, I now advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, CPTSD, and animal abuse. My work is rooted in resilience and honesty, shaped by the belief that storytelling can be both a lifeline and a catalyst for change.
Alongside this mission, I continue to create — capturing moments of beauty through photography, art, and the places that have held a special place in my heart. Creativity remains my compass, guiding both my healing and my advocacy.
If you’ve found your way here to learn, connect, or heal, you are welcome. This path isn’t easy, but it’s one we don’t have to walk alone.
